Anbessa Electric is an upscale water and energy-focused electromechanical company based in Addis Ababa. The company specializes in advanced electrical and electromechanical solutions and is currently expanding its sales force to support its growing operations.
Position: Sales Engineer
Anbessa Electric is seeking a motivated and technically skilled Sales Engineer to support business development, customer engagement, and technical sales operations. The position requires frequent customer interaction and collaboration with technical and management teams.
Educational Requirements
- BSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering (Power or Control preferred)
- 0–1 year of relevant experience

Key Responsibilities
- Attend and respond to customer inquiries with technical and commercial offers
- Conduct frequent customer visits to identify business opportunities and gather feedback
- Develop and expand customer base and generate sales leads
- Evaluate and prepare technical and financial bid proposals
- Prepare and submit regular sales and activity reports
- Manage stock records and prepare monthly inventory reports
- Attend trade fairs, exhibitions, and promotional events
- Identify potential competitors and conduct competitor market surveys
- Support the Technical Manager in day-to-day operational activities
Required Skills and Competencies
- Strong technical understanding of electromechanical and electrical systems
- Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Willingness to travel frequently
- Strong reporting and documentation skills
