With a focus on global development and economic cooperation, Korea Eximbank actively supports Official Development Assistance (ODA) projects worldwide.
The Addis Ababa Representative Office promotes bilateral partnerships and provides support for Korea’s economic cooperation programs in Ethiopia and the wider East Africa region.
Position Summary: Junior ODA Specialist
As a Junior ODA Specialist, you will support ODA program implementation, project monitoring, procurement coordination, and stakeholder engagement. You will work in a dynamic environment with a team involved in international development and economic cooperation efforts in Ethiopia and across Africa.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Development Studies/Practice, Economics, International Relations, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields
- Doctorate or equivalent in a relevant field is an asset
- At least 3 years of professional experience in development sector (preferably with an international organization or NGO)
- Experience in Official Development Assistance (ODA) is a strong advantage
- Proven expertise in procurement, consultant/contractor selection, and M&E of development projects
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Strong command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Proficiency in French is an added advantage

- Knowledge of global development and donor coordination
- Ability to work independently in a multicultural environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Research and reporting proficiency for program evaluations
- Procurement and contract administration knowledge
Salary & Contract
- Remuneration: Negotiable, based on experience and salary history
- Contract Duration: One year, fixed-term
- Location: Korea Eximbank Ethiopia Office, Sarbet, Addis Ababa
