Available Positions
1. Merchant Onboarding & Support Officer
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Sales, or relevant field
- 1+ years’ experience in field sales, agent onboarding, or customer-facing fintech roles
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- High energy, self-driven, accountable personality
- Familiarity with mobile payments, merchant platforms, or digital lending is a plus
- Fluent in Amharic + local language; basic English documentation required
- Comfortable using smartphones and apps
Key Responsibilities:
- Onboard merchants and provide operational support
- Address merchant inquiries and resolve issues
- Monitor merchant performance and platform usage
2. Merchant Support Officer
Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree in Business, Customer Service, Finance, or related field
- 1–3 years’ experience in customer service, merchant support, or fintech operations
- Strong understanding of digital platforms and payment ecosystems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, proactive, and solution-focused
- Comfortable using dashboards, ticketing tools, and Google Workspace
- Multilingual skills are a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Support merchants on digital platforms
- Track and resolve operational issues
- Ensure smooth communication between merchants and internal teams
3. Business Intelligence & Data Analyst
Qualifications:
- Degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related field
- 1–3 years’ experience in BI, analytics, or reporting (preferably fintech)
- Strong skills in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL), Excel/Google Sheets, and dashboard tools (Metabase, Power BI, Tableau)
- Knowledge of Python or R is a plus
- Excellent communication to make data meaningful to non-technical teams
- Curious, proactive, structured thinker able to work under pressure
- Bonus: Familiarity with credit performance, merchant behavior, or digital finance ecosystems
4. Director, Enterprise Technologies
Qualifications:
- University Degree in Computer Science, IT, Applied Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Statistics, or related fields
- 12+ years relevant experience for BSc, 10+ years for MSc; minimum 4 years in managerial role
- Strong IT leadership across network operations, software development, operations, and technical support
- Experience in mid-to-large scale project management, budgeting, and supervising staff and consultants
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
5. Bank Partnerships Manager (BPM)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 7+ years’ experience in banking partnerships, corporate relationship management, or institutional business development
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of lending, fintech, and digital finance ecosystems
- Excellent communication, negotiation, relationship management, and analytical skills
- Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and deliver results under pressure
