About ILRI
The International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) works to improve food and nutritional security and to reduce poverty in developing countries through research for efficient, safe, and sustainable use of livestock. ILRI’s Liaison and Protocol Unit in Addis Ababa is currently embarking on a documentation digitization project to enhance data management, accessibility, and operational efficiency.
Position Overview – Intern (Liaison & Protocol Unit)
The intern will support the creation, organization, and maintenance of various physical and digital records, ensuring better accessibility, compliance, and risk reduction in documentation handling. The intern will report directly to the Liaison and Protocol Manager.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Law, Political Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong ICT knowledge, including use of photocopiers, scanners, and related office equipment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
Internship Duration & Benefits
- Duration: 5 months
- Monthly stipend to support living expenses
- Medical insurance for the duration of the internship
