ybrid Designs PLC (Ride), an innovative IT company in Addis Ababa, is launching an online platform to enable travelers hail a RIDE on demand. RIDE is the largest taxi booking platform in Ethiopia, primarily operating in Addis Ababa and Djibouti. Founded by Samrawit Fikru, it has become one of the most recognized brands in Ethiopia over 11 years.Hybrid Designs PLC is a leading provider of ride services, committed to offering safe, reliable, and efficient transportation solutions to our customers. We are looking for a Junior Booking Agent to handle customer inquiries, process ride bookings, and ensure a smooth and efficient service experience.
Position: Junior Booking Agent
Qualifications & Skills
- Degree in Marketing, Sales, Hospitality, Hotel Management, Management, Public Administration, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in customer service, call center support, or a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle high-volume calls while maintaining professionalism and accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work in a rotational shift system.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle incoming and outgoing calls to assist customers with ride bookings.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues professionally.
- Ensure accurate entry and confirmation of ride details in the booking system.
- Maintain clear, professional, and friendly communication with clients.
- Work collaboratively with the team to improve customer experience and service efficiency.
- Keep detailed records of customer interactions and bookings for quality assurance.
Work Schedule:
This role requires working in a rotational shift system, with three shifts covering 24-hour operations to ensure continuous service. Applicants should be flexible and willing to work different shifts.
