Position Overview: Health and Nutrition Officer
The Health and Nutrition Officer will support the effective implementation of health and nutrition programs, including SC, OTP, TSFP, IYCF, and C-MAMI interventions. The officer will ensure quality clinical care and support treatment protocols as per national and international guidelines
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver routine care and treatment for patients in nutrition programs
- Ensure hygiene, safety, and infection control protocols are followed
- Monitor and follow CMAM protocol for screening and treatment
- Participate in health education and outreach programs
- Assist with triage, referrals, and emergency patient care
- Maintain clinical records and monitor data quality
- Supervise nurse aides and related staff
- Conduct follow-ups on defaulters and absentees in collaboration with field teams
- Support set-up and functioning of stabilization centers
- Uphold safeguarding, gender equality, and child protection standards
Required Qualifications
For Level IV Graduates:
- Recognized diploma and COC with valid license
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in government, private, or NGO health facilities
For Bachelor’s Degree Holders:
- BSc in Nursing with COC and valid license
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in hospital or NGO settings

- Competency in digital tools and MS Office
