Glocare Pharma Manufacturing P.L.C is an Indian pharmaceutical company with a production capacity of 600 million pills and 7 million capsules per year. The company recently launched its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Kilinto Industrial Park, Ethiopia, aiming to produce high-quality pharmaceutical products for the local and regional market. The launch was attended by high-level dignitaries including the Indian Ambassador to Ethiopia and State Minister for Health, marking a significant milestone in Ethiopia’s pharmaceutical sector.
Available Positions
1. Junior Civil Engineer
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field (fresh graduates may apply)
- Basic understanding of civil engineering principles and construction practices
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or other drafting tools is an advantage
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, designing, and supervising civil engineering projects
- Support senior engineers with site visits and inspections
- Collect and analyze field and project data
- Coordinate with team members, contractors, and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Prepare daily reports
Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
2. Junior Microbiologist
Qualifications:
- BSc in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biology, or related field
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
- Internship or laboratory experience is an advantage
Skills & Knowledge:
- Basic microbiological testing techniques
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and media preparation
- Basic awareness of GMP/GLP
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
- Ability to follow SOPs and safety procedures
Personal Attributes:
- Detail-oriented and disciplined
- Strong willingness to learn
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work under supervision and in shifts if required
Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
3. Chemist
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry from a recognized university
- Strong analytical, observational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English is mandatory
