Position: Communications Intern
ZOA Ethiopia is seeking a dynamic Communications Intern to strengthen its external communications, enhance visibility, and expand its public profile. This role will contribute to social media management, branding, and storytelling to highlight ZOA’s impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of ZOA’s communications workplan, including social media, branded materials, and visibility tools.
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging social media content.
- Assist with the design and production of communication materials (digital and print).
- Monitor and report on communications performance and engagement.
- Collect and share stories, photos, and testimonials from project sites.
- Ensure consistent application of ZOA’s branding guidelines.
- Contribute to the promotion of ZOA events and campaigns.
- Provide general support to the communications team and supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience
- Recent graduate (2024/2025) or final-year student in Communications, Journalism, Digital Marketing, Public Relations, or related field.
- Strong interest or experience in social media management and content creation.
- Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal English skills.
- Strong organizational ability, attention to detail, and teamwork.
- Commitment to ZOA’s humanitarian values.
