Benefits of the CERN Administrative Student Program

Selected interns will receive:

  • Association contract for 2 to 12 months
  • 3,452 Swiss Francs per month (net, tax included)
  • Round-trip airfare to Switzerland
  • Health coverage under CERN’s Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme
  • Paid leave: 2.5 days per month
  • Possible supplement for married participants or those with children

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify, applicants must:

  • Be a student from a CERN Member or Associate Member State, or studying in a Member State
  • Have completed at least 18 months of undergraduate or master’s studies
  • Be available full-time for 2–12 months
  • Have a good understanding of English or French

  • At least one reference letter from a university professor (additional letters optional)
