Position: Junior IT Officer
Educational Qualification
- BSc Degree in:
- Computer Science
- Computer Engineering
- Information Technology
- Or related fields
- Eligible graduates: 2022, 2023, and 2024 G.C
Experience
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience in:
- IT support
- Computer and printer hardware maintenance
- Advantage:
- A+ certification or local hardware maintenance training certificates
Key Responsibilities
- Provide network support and resolve network-related issues
- Deliver end-user support on core banking and internal systems
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software
- Perform maintenance for computers, printers, scanners, and related devices
- Conduct network installation and preventive maintenance at branches
- Manage user accounts and security settings via Windows Active Directory
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure end-to-end technical support
- Troubleshoot routers, switches, and firewalls when required
- Respond to IT issues after working hours and during holidays as assigned
- Report all security incidents to the responsible IT unit
- Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor
Technical & Professional Skills
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals
- Hardware maintenance and diagnostics
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to IT security and confidentiality
