SAMANU PLC is one of Ethiopia’s leading FMCG companies with a strong portfolio of well-known brands such as Tena Edible Oils, 555 and Aura Soap & Detergents, and Chef Luca Wheat Products. With new investments, SAMANU is expanding its operations by constructing a solvent extraction plant to produce edible oils from locally sourced sunflower, sesame, and soya beans. This expansion strengthens its role in reducing import dependency and boosting Ethiopia’s agro-processing industry.
Position: Marketing Officer
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience Requirements:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Prior experience in FMCG marketing (especially edible oil or food products) is an added advantage.
Key Competencies & Skills:
- Strong knowledge of marketing principles, trade marketing, and consumer behavior.
- Proficiency in digital marketing and social media management.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Creativity, innovation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Teamwork and collaboration across departments.
- Knowledge of the Ethiopian FMCG market and distribution channels.
