Position Summary: Liaison Officer and Driver
The Liaison Officer and Driver will play a pivotal role in facilitating effective communication between the school and its partners, while supporting logistical and administrative processes. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, proactive problem-solving, and a professional attitude under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as liaison between the school and stakeholders such as embassies, ministries, and local authorities
- Research and communicate legal and regulatory updates affecting school operations
- Support administrative processes including applications for visas, permits, and licenses
- Check, prepare, scan, and submit official documents to relevant institutions
- Provide driving services for airport transfers, field trips, and administrative errands
- Assist in procurement tasks including market price comparisons and local purchases
- Collaborate with other liaison officers and drivers to ensure efficient support services
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, public relations, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years professional experience in a relevant role
- Strong command of English and Amharic (spoken and written); German language is an asset
- Valid driving license for car, motorcycle, and bus with at least 5 years of driving experience
- High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic internet tools
- Proven interpersonal and communication skills with a professional demeanor
- Ability to handle pressure, multitask, and work independently
